Dr. Udo Schaefer

born in 1926, studied law at Heidelberg University where he took his degrees. The subject of his doctoral thesis was the constitutional law of the Bahá'í community in comparison with Canon Law and Protestant Church Law. He was a judge and later on a chief public-prosecutor at the State Court of Heidelberg, retired since 1988. Since the time of his studies interested in religious studies and theology, he is the author of a number of books and articles on the Bahá'í Faith and on Islam.
